Seemed a bit ambitious - maybe not ambitious to get something similar to the presentation, but ambitious to get a playable game..
Unclear with how it will work with dimensions etc, in terms of gameplay mechanics
Nice idea, would be great if done well
Dirty Derby
Sounds fun, should be possible to make into a playable game in the timeframe. "Drop the bomb" sounds fun.
Should be easily scalable to > 2 players?
Might need an additional element to make the game unique, maybe some cool weapon concepts or game types
Project Magma
Aiming high with graphics related goals is good but dont lose sight of the fact that you want a game thats fun in the end
Having fixed camera angle sounds like it will be tricky
Two small points - ice hitting lava and turning into rock (or something like that) seemed a bit dubious / confusing. And lastly, maybe i misunderstood, but if the island things are always moving down when you stand on them, how do you ever move up? (having the magic force that attracts the islands seemed like a bit of a hack.. i would figure out something a bit more solid).

I really like the targeted look of your game. If your modelling looks as good as your sketches and you create some nice shaders, this could look great. Furthermore, I like the puzzle game mode which sound really funny but you should make sure to spend enough time on creating intelligent puzzles.
At your presentation you told us, that the different dimensions will just be the same levels but some objects will only exist in one dimension. This sounds quite confusing to me (especially when you play it in split screen).
I would concentrate on the puzzle mode and create some cool puzzles that are connected with a funny story. To solve the confusing dimension-problem I think it would be very funny if the 2 players play in 2 different levels, where one level is at the sky of the other level with reversed gravity. So if you'd look up you could see the other player playing there (maybe separated by a strange textured blue semi-transparent plane). Furthermore you could have some high platforms where the player can jump into the other dimension or one player could tell the other player what's on the other side of a wall. (I hope this was not too confusing...)
Dirty Derby
I like the fact that the cars will have weapons like a rocket launcher and that they can push themselves off the map.
I don't see why you want to make the game only for 2 players. I think it would be way more fun with 4 players and it's almost no additional work. With 2 players it will just be boring because there is only one car to attack.
I would add ramps onto the map so that people can jump with their cars. Moreover, I wouldn't make the physics too realistic. I always liked car games where your car does a lot of rollovers and fly through the air when you crash into another car.
Project Magma
What I most like about your idea is the fact that you fight on moving platform and that they could fall down suddenly so that you're always in a hurry.
I don't like the fact that the platforms fly and that they are on different heights. I'm almost sure that this will be very confusing when you play it. Not just the movment but also the aiming with weapons in a 3D-scene with an isometric perspective seems almost impossible.
To solve this problem I would let the islands float on the lava or at least in a 2D-plane. Because flying platforms look quite strange you could put them onto lava fountains which sometimes disapear in an unpredictable way and then you'd have to leave this platform very quickly.

In my opinion the most fun will be the fact that different players are in different dimensions. However, make sure that the puzzles are more sophisticated than:
Player A needs to stand on a switch for player B to cross a bridge
PLayer B needs to press a a switch and player A can advance
etc... There could be one of those, but these are standard cliche type puzzles and will make the game boring. Instead think of something novel which will make the game fun. Maybe throwing a ball from one dimension to the other or something like this.
I definitely did not like the deathmatch. It somehow is the exact opposite of what you are trying to create. Having monsters (as enemies) is okay as long as it helps the puzzles. Killing each other does not look right in this kind of game.
Lastly, is it really good to have one person focus on animations only? Maybe it makes sense to have only 1 character animated but have the third person also do some coding. Maybe you'd also like some ragdoll physics in the code which would make it certainly a cool addition (for monsters that is). Also, have you thought about "wall walking"? It is not so difficult to do, but could certainly expand your map.
Dirty Derby
I certainly like the fact that one can ram players off the map into cliffs the game. This sounds very similar to mario cart or mashed.
I think the game lacks something which will make the game stand out compared to mario cart or mashed. There should be some kind of twist in the game which will make it in some way special.
One thing I would certainly advise is to make the game exaggerated. Maybe cartoon-like. This will make the game a lot more fun since you can come up with some crazy weapons will make anyone laugh. A good example (always has been) is worms 2. You could have a sheep launcher, or a super donkey weapon.
Project Magma
I think my favorite aspect of the game is the originality. But besides, I also like the fact that I can push down people down into the lava. This should be quite fun.
I dont think that the sinking island is such a good idea. As I see it now, the game has a 2d fighting style, what I mean by that is that the player is only able to to aim left right and not up and down. I cant imagine how the player would be able to aim while using an isometric camera. This implies that when a player sinks with the island, he cannot be hit by "spells" which fly in a straight line.
I would certainly like to have a "hook shot" like it was present in the zelda series. This would certainly make a nice addition as I could still save myself from falling and also make traveling on islands easier.
