Issues

Maybe we should change the energy representation from byte to float. (tb)

  • + Continuous diffusion
  • + Fractional application
  • + Higher dynamic range of terrains...
  • - 4 Times more memory required
  • ? Diffusion has to be calculated in float... dont know wether this is faster ore much slower
  • On the GPU, we have only 8 bits per channel as well

---+++ Would be nice if the player would automatically look in the direction of the point, where he drains energy of. (md)
